My 2 year old son has Nephrogenic Diabetes Insipidus - need a nappy solution for over night? He is toilet trained during the day, we currently use a huggies junior nappy with an incontenience pad insert with a pilcher over the top to limit excess urine leaking out. We change him every 2 to 3 hours with with proceedure, it's not working very well and he's getting bigger now and outgrowing the nappies, not sure where to go to now?

Hi L.V., you can certainly try him in DryNites, these offer the same level of absorbency as nappies but are likely to provide a better fit and therefore will be less prone to leakage. Given your sons medical situation I would strongly recommend that you get in touch with a continence advisor who can assist you in best managing his nighttime incontinence – you should ask either your GP or pediatrician to refer you to someone in your area. You are also likely to be eligible for the CAPS Government Assistance scheme, which is designed to assist with related costs (click on the link provided http://www.continence.org.au/pages/continence-aids-payment-scheme-caps.html).
