What age should you realistically expect a child to stay dry overnight consistently?

Children develop nighttime bladder control at different ages. Persistent bedwetting, that is bedwetting that occurs at least once or twice a week, is typically not considered to be a problem until your child reaches school-age. It is estimated that approximately 15-20% of 5-year-olds wet the bed (in a class of 20 kindergarten children at least 3 children) on a regular basis, dropping to 10% by age seven.
