There’s always a path to dry nights. Even if you’re 7.
My son is 7 years old and still wets the bed once a night, he has gone consecutive nights without wetting at all but mostly once a night and sometimes even wets twice a night. He does not drink anything after 5pm and is made to go to the toilet before bed, we also wake him during the night for him to go to the toilet. What else can I do??
My son has special needs and also has a VP Shunt. He is continent through the day generally but incontinent through the night. He has outgrown the nappie range and we are looking into other options. I was trying to avoid having to use and extra pad in the drynites.
Was day toilet trained at 3 however has never gotten the hang of night training. Goes to toilet before going to bed but wets most nights. is on Concerta during the day and melatonin at night to help with going to sleep. His Dr’s are not interested in his bed wetting as they see it as ‘the least of his problems’.
