5 years old and wetting the bed? Nothing unusual!
he still has ‘accidents’ during the day about once a week to once a fortnight. i get him to go to the toilet before bed but he often doesn’t urinate before bed, he just stands there and then says he doesn’t need to go. he urinates so much at night that two out of the last four nights his sheets have gotten saturated even tho he is wearing dry nites.
Our son will be 5 in December and has gone back to wetting the bed. He use to be very good and hardly wet at all now he would wet every night except that we take him to the toilet before we go to bed and get up at 4.00 am and take him again. We moved house 2 years ago and he seemed to wet more at this house which is out of town than when were in town. I have tried sticker charts and rewards but it still doesn’t help. If you could help in anyway it would be much appreciated.
My son turns 5 in Dec. At the moment we are trying jocks at night. However we are waking him up and taking him to the toilet. It’s only on the nights we do this that he is dry. Does this mean he is not ready to try night training? His dad was a bedwetter. We are thinking about getting an alarm on the bed. Is he too early for this.
My son is 5 and is concerned with his bedwetting. His Paediatrician suggested we get an enuresis alarm to help train him. There are a couple of problems we are encounting: 1. My son sweats a lot and the alarm goes off when he sweats, he doesn’t even need to wee 2. If my son does do a wee the alarm does not wake him up. Both my husband and myself have tried and he sleeps through. Please help with some advice, I don’t know if we should continue with the alarm.
