Hi Emma – Leakage often results from improper fit, which can occur if your DryNites are too small. Check that they are fitting you properly around the leg as this can contribute to leakage. If you find you have outgrown your DryNites you might like to consider products that have been designed for adults, many of which are available online or through your local Chemist. I would recommend that your parents contact the Continence Association of Australia (1800 330 066) who will be able to recommend an appropriate product. You can try and minimise the amount of urine you produce overnight, and therefore reduce the chance of leaking, by reducing the amount you drink in the evening and avoiding any food or drink that increases urine production like chocolate, coffee and soft-drinks. Given the frequency of your wetting, it is very important that you talk with your parents about making an appointment with your doctor so you can look into the different treatment options available.

Regards,
Dr Cathrine
