my near 5 yr old son sees a pediatrician i have him in drynights each night and he completely wets through them when they fit comfortably.he goes to the tiolet alot and had thyrorid checked. what can cause his constant urination during the day every 20 m

Regular urination throughout the day can be a result of a number of different factors. The fact that he also wets through his DryNites at night may mean he has a small bladder capacity, a common cause of bedwetting as well as frequent daytime urination. Your Pediatrician is in the best position to determine the cause so I would recommend that you follow his or her advice with respect to treatment and management. In the meantime, you can certainly promote a healthy bladder by encouraging your son to drink water regularly throughout the day and ensuring he has a balanced diet.
